ART 292 Designing Art for Public Spaces

This class is an immersive hands-on introduction to contemporary public art practices, with a focus on design, production, and installation. Through the application of drawing, painting, drafting, fabrication, and/or sculpture, students participate in the creation of collaborative site-specific artworks and installations. Students with interests in visual arts, design, architecture, drafting, manufacturing, fabrication, and construction will gain a multifaceted look into the process of site-specific public art practices.
