ART 241 Introduction to Fiber Arts

Traditional and contemporary applications and histories of fiber arts within craft, art, and design. Covers major topics such as hand-sewing, machine sewing, and 2D/3D fiber construction. Areas of emphasis rotate between techniques that could include knit structures, woven structures, surface design, and fabric manipulation.
