Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Analyze various business communication situations and audiences to make choices about the most effective and efficient strategy to communicate and deliver messages
2. Conduct research that includes the use of electronic library resources and the Internet; use the results of that research in both oral and written communication strategies
3. Deliver effective business presentations in contexts that may be planned or impromptu
4. Understand the skills and steps involved in effective copy writing
5. Develop effective interpersonal communication skills specifically towards conflict management and supervisory communications with employees
6. Appropriately use communication technology effectively
