XAPP 5990 Anatomy/Physiology/Pathology 4

Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology 4 (APP 4) integrates the cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune and respiratory systems. These systems share a dynamic fluid nature. Students also learn and use anatomical terminology, health and wellness concepts, and assessment tools. All APP courses share required textbooks and should be taken in succession.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Understand the function of the circulatory, lymphatic and immune and respiratory systems

2. Discuss the pathologies of the circulatory, lymphatic and immune and respiratory systems

3. Understand the importance of the circulatory, lymphatic and immune and respiratory systems as these systems share a dynamic fluid nature

4. Explore and experience anatomy and physiology from the perspective of the cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, and respiratory systems
5. Integrate these systems into the practice of massage therapy
