XAPP 5980 Anatomy/Physiology/Pathology 2

Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology 2 (APP 2) continues the study of structure, function and dysfunction of the human body. Topics covered include organization of the skeleton, composition of bone and muscle tissue, healthy joint structure and function, and bone, joint and muscle conditions commonly encountered by massage therapists. Students also learn and use anatomical terminology, health and wellness concepts, and assessment tools. All APP courses share required textbooks and should be taken in succession.

1. Achieve a strong understanding of the structure and function of the skeletal system, articulations, and muscles, as well as common conditions encountered by massage therapists
