DA 102 Advanced Clinical Experiences

Knowledge and skills taught throughout the program are utilized as students apply a variety of expanded function chairside assisting and client care skills.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Polish amalgam surfaces
2. Using a classmate as a patient, mix, place and remove periodontal dressing
3. Remove simulated cement from a typodont
4. Obtain alginate impressions with bite registrations on live clients
5. Place posterior rubber dams on a live client
6. Coronal polish teeth
7. Construct one set of bleach trays
8. Reline one set of dentures on a typodont
