XSKR 0500L Skill Dev: College Success Reading and Writing 2 (CSRW2)

College Success Reading and Writing 2 builds the academic reading and writing skills adult learners need for credit-level coursework. Students develop close reading strategies, practice evidence-based writing across multiple drafts, and strengthen their academic voice through essay projects. Successful completion of this course, alongside Bridge to College Success, meets the prerequisite for WR 115: Introduction to College Composition at Lane Community College, as listed in the LCC academic catalog.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Apply strategic reading abilities to comprehend and analyze complex college-level texts across disciplines
