Operations with whole numbers, decimals and benchmark fractions; place value; estimation; problems involving measurement and time; representing data with a bar graph; perimeter and area of squares and rectangles; introduction to very basic algebraic thinking.

Students will gain the critical math skills and knowledge adults must have for success in college, technical training, and careers. Courses provide comprehensive instruction in mathematics specifically identifying what adults need to know to be prepared for postsecondary education, training, and employment. This includes completion of high school equivalency, the GED, and preparation for entering postsecondary education and/or employment.
