CNC 131 Basic CNC Machining Projects

This course will be a project term to test students skills that they have developed over the year. Students will be required to 3D model, create cutting programs, machine and inspect multiple one off parts for both the CNC lathe and mill. Students will be given strict deadlines for all projects to simulate real world machining schedules. Students will be pushed to create high quality parts to print before deadline. Students will keep all machined parts to create their own portfolio of work. Lab included.
