Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Client Centered Care: The student will identify that nursing care must be centered on the unique needs of a diverse population of people and that needs may changes as societal conditions change
2. Quality & Safety: The student will identify nursing care strategies that minimizes risk to clients, self, and others
3. Clinical Decision Making: The student will identify the steps of the nursing process as a systematic guide to client centered care
4. Teamwork & Collaboration: The student will identify effective communication strategies and collaborative methods.
5. Professionalism: The student will identify the importance of integrity, legal and ethical principles, and the standards of the Nurse Practice Act in the clinical setting
6. Informatics & Technology: The student will identify current technology as it relates to nursing care and client information
