Participants will develop essential skills to organize content, craft developmentally appropriate and culturally competent instructional strategies, and assess student learning. This certificate is designed to support industry experts as they move into teaching roles within middle and high school CTE programs. The coursework aligns with the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) requirements for industry experts aspiring to obtain an Oregon Restricted or Preliminary CTE license.
Additionally, we provide professional development for post-secondary CTE faculty and instructors teaching across CTE career areas to improve their teaching skills. This program focuses on foundational skills to translate your professional expertise into a classroom context.
