XHE 5500A Foundations of Behavioral Health 1

Foundations in Behavioral Health exposes students to behavioral health careers and provides an overview of what it means to apply trauma-informed care, ethical reasoning, and cultural humility to engage in work with diverse populations in behavioral health professions. Emphasis is placed on principles of laws and ethics, respect of human dignity, scope of practice, and skills, practices, trends, and theories that inform the behavioral health field.

1. Participate in career exploration related to behavioral health careers
