XEMS 9449 Emergency Medical Services

With a focus on prehospital recognition and treatment, this course is designed to improve the overall understanding and knowledge of EMS and its multiple disciplines, these may include EMT, Wilderness EMT, Advanced EMT, and EMT Intermediate licensing levels. This course will teach a wide variety of topics in EMS and provide instruction in a variety of medical and trauma related emergencies. This is a demanding course designed for those who will respond to 911 emergencies in an ambulance or fire rescue and will function within the emergency medical services system.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
