This course is designed to prepare HIM graduates to sit for and pass the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) exam given by the American Health Information Association (AHIMA).

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Apply entry-level RHIT curriculum competencies through practice mock examinations that are focused on the RHIT examination domains. (Please see CAHIIM Competencies below)
2. Describe the application process for the RHIT exam
3. Develop a study plan for the RHIT exam
4. Identify areas of strength and areas of improvement to prepare for the RHIT exam
