BOT 220 Principles of Botany

Introduction to plant biology and diversity from an evolutionary perspective, with an emphasis on the life cycles, environmental roles, forms, and functions of the major plant groups. Term research projects measure the growth, development, and responses to biotic and abiotic cues with field trips emphasizing the development of professional field botany knowledge, and practical skills.
