AP 226 Part 107 for Pilots

This Part 107 Ground School course is tailored specifically for individuals who already hold a private pilot certificate and are seeking to expand their qualifications to include remote pilot operations for small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). Designed to bridge the gap between traditional piloting and drone operations, the course covers key aspects of the FAA's Part 107 regulations, airspace classification, weather, and navigation as they relate to drone flight. Students will gain an understanding of the unique challenges of operating drones, including communication with ATC, risk management, and safety procedures. This course will ensure students are well-prepared to pass the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Test and operate drones safely and effectively in compliance with regulatory requirements.
