AP 123 Private Pilot ASA Lab

This course, based on the ASA Private Pilot Test Prep, is designed to prepare aspiring pilots for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Exam and lay a strong foundation for safe and confident flying. Students will explore fundamental aeronautical concepts, including principles of flight, aircraft systems, navigation, weather, and FAA regulations. Students will develop essential skills in flight planning, interpreting aviation charts, and decision-making.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Use fundamental aeronautical concepts, including principles of flight, navigation, weather interpretation, and FAA regulations, essential for private pilot operations

2. Accurately perform flight planning tasks, including route selection, weight and balance calculations, and fuel requirements, while effectively using navigation aids and aviation charts

3. Apply sound Aeronautical Decision-Making (ADM) and risk management strategies to ensure safety and efficiency during all phases of flight
